Will Writing

Our Will preparation starts at £400 (excluding print and secure postage).

For your peace of mind, and that of your beneficiaries, we advise that you store your Will with us for £30/year.

Advance Directive (‘living will’) starting from £25

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA's)
There are two types:

A Health and Welfare LPA lets your attorney make decisions about your medical treatment and day-to-day care, including where you live, what you eat, what medical treatment you receive and who you see.

A Property & Financial Affairs LPA lets your attorney handle your money and property, including paying your bills, selling your property and collecting pensions and benefits.

LPA's allow you to retain control of your assets and decision-making within your trusted circle of family and advisers. The alternative is that the Court of Protection may have to become involved in your family affairs, with the initial and annual ongoing cost of such involvement possibly amounting to thousands of pounds. With our assistance, all of this can be avoided by having your LPA's correctly drafted, properly signed and registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (‘OPG’).

For our team to prepare your LPA’s and process each through to registration will cost from £550.00 for each LPA (exclusive of the registration fee payable to the OPG.) Fee for Registration is currently £82.

Estate Planning
